If any volunteer has the right stuff it is former American Airlines pilot and all-round great guy Pete Jeffrey.  Yes, he is an amazing engineer of innovative Pantry gadgets, is one of the few volunteers licensed to put up a canopy tent single-handed, and is fully qualified to trampoline in the recycle dumpster. But it is his unfailing good humor and can-do spirit that truly sets him apart - and makes him a worthy choice for this issue's spotlighted volunteer.

Well, all that and falling into one of our Uline carts in spectacular fashion the other day - a catastrophe only Pete could handle with such aplomb.
